2.1. Menu Bar
Pull-down menu options:

File menu
- New analyser: Creates a new analyser.
- Open: Opens a project that was previously saved within an empty tab.
- Save: Saves the analysis results in taw format (*.taw).
- Close: Closes the tab that is currently selected.
- Close all: Closes all tabs.
- Exit: Closes TAW.

Reports menu
- TAW: Creates the TAW report for the page selected in the analyser.
- EARL: Creates the EARL report for the page selected in the analyser.
- Summary: Creates the summary report for all the pages analysed.

Checkpoint menu 
- Validity level submenu: Allows to indicate the manual review result for the issues found.
- Pass: The issue found it does not cause an accessibility problem.
- Fail: The issue found does not meet the checkpoint. All automatic issues are considered fail by default.
- Not tested: That checkpoint has not been checked by the tool. General recommendations have this validity level.
- Can not tell: It is not possible to determinate the issue found. It requires human review. All manual issues are assigned to this value by default.
- Not applicable: The checkpoint performed is not applicable to the element.
- Checkpoint annotation: Allows adding a comment to the checkpoint.
- Techniques: Shows the help about the checkpoint selected.
- Visual checking: Shows the page analysed, highlighting elements that will help with the review of the manual issues.
- Checklist: Checklist of the checkpoints reviewed during the analysis indicating validity level, and providing access to the Visual Checking and Checkpoint Annotation options.

Settings menu
- Guidelines: Selection of the checkpoints to be analysed.
- User checks: Creation and management of the user checks.
- Reports: Report parameters settings.
- Preferences: General parameters settings (E.g.: language, proxy connection).

Help menu
- WCAG 1.0: Shows Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 document.
- User's Guide: Shows this document.
- About TAW: Information about the application.
