7. Settings

The settings parameters are managed at two levels: Tool and analyser levels.

• Tool: assigns values to the parameters that acts in a global manner over the tool (for example, to perform the connection through a proxy) and, also defines the initial values, for guidelines and reports, used when a new analyser is created. The settings for the application can be set through the options at the Settings menu: Guidelines... for guidelines, Reports... for reports, and the last option, Preferences... for global parameters.
• Analyser: modifies the settings values only for that analyser. To modify the settings values for the analyser, you can use the Reports and Guidelines buttons for each analyser.
